3rd Annual Jobs & Career Expo

The Jobs & Career Expo, hosted by Imbizo Events and its subsidiary IMBEX, is a high-impact platform focused on tackling unemployment, skills gaps, and education access in the Eastern Cape and beyond. Now in its third year, the Expo has positioned itself as a critical connector between job seekers, students, employers, government, and education institutions, creating real pathways from learning to earning.

Built around the theme “Breaking Barriers: Careers Without Limits”, the Expo is intentionally designed to expand access to future-focused opportunities, with a strong emphasis on STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The programme prioritises skills and careers aligned to innovation, digital transformation, and economic growth — ensuring young people and job seekers are equipped for the realities of a rapidly evolving job market.

Who Attends?

  • The Jobs & Career Expo attracts a diverse, action-oriented audience, including:
Job seekers and unemployed graduates actively seeking employment and placement opportunities
  • High school learners and tertiary students exploring career paths, bursaries, and study options
  • Career advisors, educators, and training providers shaping future-ready skills.
  • Private sector employers and SMEs recruiting talent and showcasing opportunities
  • Private and public educational institutions promoting academic and vocational pathways
  • Government departments and policymakers, including Higher Education, Labour, and Digital Technologies
  • Financial institutions and development partners supporting education, funding, and entrepreneurship.

Whether you’re a learner mapping your future, an employer sourcing talent, or a stakeholder committed to reducing unemployment and skills mismatches, the Jobs & Career Expo is where access meets action — and careers are unlocked, not just discussed.
