The 4th industrial revolution has brought about a significant need for knowledge sharing in the IT and ICT sector, which has a pivotal role in the growth and development of Small, Medium, and Micro enterprises (SMMEs). Our CEO Motse Mfuleni gave an insight on Power FM - Power Up on the 3^rd annual SMMEs in ICT Summit and Expo, scheduled to take place on 13 July 2023 at the Sandton Conversional Centre in Johannesburg. During his interview, he emphasised that the main objective of the SMMES in ICT SUMMIT and Expo is to promote inclusion, easy access, and information sharing.

Mr Mfuleni Pointed out that ‘A lot of our SMMEs more especially in the townships and rural areas and some in urban areas are still not participating in the opportunity that the 4th industrial revolution is bringing because there is a lot of gatekeeping which is designed to make sure that the right people are inside the sector”.

SMMEs in ICT Summit and Expo aims to address this issue by opening its doors to over 200 delegates and exhibitors enabling them to be part of this monumental event. The summit has been designed to make it easier for SMMEs to actively participate in the broad IT and ICT economy.
